Motherhood
    It is said it is the hardest job with the most sacrifices in the world. I couldn’t agree more. But in stating that Motherhood is also the most rewarding job I have ever had. Every day is an adventure, and every day you learn how to truly love and understand not only your child, but everyone you come into contact with. Motherhood is a complex concept with many sacrifices and heartaches but it also teaches you the quality of life and how and with whom to share your life with and for what reasons.
Unconditional love was a concept I learned immediately after giving birth to my son, before the cord was even cut. Judging and dismissing people for their faults was my way to keep people from getting too close to me. It was one of my greatest defense mechanisms. But as you look into a tiny human’s eye that is a vulnerable creature and depends solely on you for its survival, you’re perception of the world and people change dramatically. I no longer look and focus on the faults of my fellow humans, but embrace their honorable traits. Becoming a mother taught me how and why I need to cherish my family and friends. As my child stared into my eyes for the first time, I truly knew then what it meant to love someone for everything that they are and everything they could ever be.
    With learning to love one also sees the ineptness in others and their ability to truly care unconditionally for another. Mo...
