Water Resource Plan Students Name Class Date Teachers Name A big issue that affects all of the world’s water is water pollution. Water pollution has been a problem since the being of mankind. Human waste was the first pollutant that contributed to the world’s water pollution problem. Many other pollutants have made it into the Earth’s water which includes oil, garbage, sewage, fertilizers, and different kinds of chemicals. There are three different sources of pollution they are: industry, agriculture, and from homes. A plan to help the world’s water pollution problem would take years to revert the damage that has been done. Small steps are needed to help the future of the world’s water. Since most people are still unaware of how to protect themselves from many of these pollutants; education is going to be the key in putting together a plan to help people become aware of these dangerous pollutants. Water pollution effects can include the effects to bodily organs, flooding, harm to animals that live in the water that cause algae to form in the water, and interrupt the food chain. Also water pollution effects can include but not limited to waterborne infectious diseases, nutrient pollution, chemical contamination, marine debris, thermal pollution and a cost to consumers. In a plan to get the world educated on the effects of water pollution warnings need to be in place immediately. Ads on television and radio need to be place across the world. ...
