To an Interior decorator the perfect color scheme, furniture and space are important. To and educator some of these decisions can be different. As an educator with the dreams of owning my childcare center, I sometimes find myself standing still looking at a blank canvas waiting to be painted by yours truly me. I use my imagination and often find myself sketching out my design before I actually make it come to life. “If the environment is set up with the knowledge of how children learn and develop it can positively support teaching and learning.” (Early Childhood/Family Education Programs Oklahoma State Department of Education).
