When young adults finish high school the only thing that comes to their mind is freedom, the freedom of no rules and bossy parents. They imagine vivid pictures of what college might be like for them and for many young adults that freedom and college lifestyle means insane wild parties, no boundaries, and iniquities. These students believe that, much like high school, classes will be taken during the day and filled with all their friends. They imagine a lifestyle with no other worries besides an occasional essay or lab. It is often said that college is the greatest time of one’s life; many high school students believe this and look forward to it. Some enjoy the idea of going away from home, and start a new independent life, but they do not see the real deal of what college is. Many of these young adults when college arrives find difficult to adapt to the environment alone or they find the pressure of the college lifestyle, and some take the option of drop out school. These young adults lose the real meaning of what is being in college and found it so hard to succeed in it.
College is a time known for young adults spreading their wings and developing their minds. Unfortunately, many often develop unhealthy habits that can last much longer than the four years of college, thinking that it is the real college lifestyle.
