Every man or woman is born with natural rights. These rights include the liberty to use all resources, plants, animals or anything and everything of their environment necessary for the preservation of their self. But because every single person is born with these rights, and especially since the current world population is nearing an astonishing seven billion people, this natural right that everyone has, usually interferes with anothers natural right. For if every single person were to use everything they wanted, there would be a mass shortage of resources. Everybody’s natural right interferes with someone else’s. When there is an unrestricted use of resources, some may get more than others, leaving individuals wanting, therefore they are being denied their natural rights to everything they feel necessary for survival. This unequal possession of resources eventually leads to threats, harsh feelings, and eventually war.
As Hobbes describes it, we are all born with the right to use anything and everything necessary for survival, but with such a large population, not everyone gets what they feel they deserve.
